Visit Greenwich for their Annual Holiday Stroll

Posted by editor on 12/01/18

Are you ready to begin the season of giving? Only 20 minutes from your cozy Castle apartment lies Greenwich, CT and all that it has to offer. Although Greenwich Avenue is glamorous every day, it shines brighter in December. Each year, now in its tenth, over 100 merchants join forces to present a festive weekend designed to shop, dine and get you in the spirit of the season.

Spanning Cos Cob, Riverside, Greenwich and Byram, The Holiday Stroll Weekend has many activities for all ages and just a “hop, skip and a jump” from your lovely Port Chester apartment. Pictures with Santa, live reindeer, horse drawn carriage rides, live music and ice sculpture demonstrations just to name a few of the many entertaining things to see and do. Write a letter and mail it to Santa in one of the many mailboxes along your route. Visit the live nativity at the First United Methodist Church of Greenwich and bring your pup for the blessing of the animals. There will be a food truck village offering many options for you to grab a quick bite!

Greenwich Reindeer Festival and Santa’s Village takes place now through Christmas Eve so be sure to visit. Take a spin on the carousel or train to feel like a kid again. Feed the reindeer and enter the contest to name the newest to the herd. As with The Castle apartment complex, pets are always welcome and can even take a photo with the big guy himself!

Visit The Holiday Stroll Weekend for more details, a schedule of events and an interactive map.
